“It started from the back of the garage back home, we were there for 6 to 8 months. We started by buying just as much as we can and selling on-line.  It wasn’t a fixed category, it was what we could get hold of and what we could make money on.”

“Back in the day I was actually driving a London black cab, which was great but I just wanted a bit more job satisfaction and not so much driving.”

“I started back in 2004 selling used DVDs on eBay. They all sold out which gave me encouragement to carry on. Then I progressed to buying up unwanted collections of plays station games, consoles and accessories. The down side of that was that there were a few returns of used products.”

“It’s been a continuous growth process from the beginning. EBay was the main shopping channel which kick started Displaypro.”

“We started off on a shoe string. We used a credit card with £2000 credit limit and we bought a range of products to resell. It was products from a UK manufacturer. We bought one carton and made a profit by a second carton.”
